A magnificent view of Mattapoisett Harbor, a quarter mile of beach front, and a modern facility with the preserved charm of the 1880’s makes the Mattapoisett YMCA a special place for all ages. The Mattapoisett YMCA’s unique surroundings and program areas provide families with adult fitness classes, child care and summer waterfront activities that include sailing for youth, adults and families. This is a specialty location open year round for child care, family programming and experiential education. It does not have an indoor pool or wellness facilities.

Outdoor facilities include two seasonal outdoor swimming pools, skate park, basketball sports court, volleyball, playground, ropes challenge course, outdoor climbing wall and open fields for soccer and youth sports. Our summer camp, Camp Massasoit, enrolls over 550 children per session each year and offers school vacation camp during December, February and April public school vacation weeks. Child care services are available for Preschool (ages 3-4) and Afterschool care (grades K-6) at the Mattapoisett YMCA. In addition, off-site programs include Preschool (ages 18months – grade K) and Afterschool (grades K-6) at the Sippican Elementary School in Marion and Afterschool (grades K-6) at the Memorial School in Rochester. Facility Rentals

The Mattapoisett YMCA is the perfect setting for youth groups, team building programs, school programs, and children’s birthday parties; or members can enjoy a family get-together. Please call 508-758-4203 for details. Guests must abide by the no alcohol and no smoking policy, except for wedding rentals

In recognition of our unique facilities, the YMCA offers the use of the property on a limited basis for Wedding Rentals. For more information, contact Clare Hartford at 508-758-4203.

Appointments
The YMCA provides Child Care programs year round. Due to the necessary safety and security of our participants, all appointments with renters and preferred vendors must be made in advance and confirmed with the rental coordinator. Please do not show up on the property unannounced. All visitors must check in at our main office.
