The Gleason Family YMCA has been serving Wareham and the surrounding communities since its doors opened in 2004 by offering programming for people at every age and stage of life. The Gleason Family YMCA offers a variety of programming from aquatics, after-school care, youth sports, LIVESTRONG at the YMCA. The Gleason Family YMCA is truly a “Community YMCA,” impacting lives each and every day. Community Market on the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month.

Before and After School Care
Y School Age programs help kids develop socially and academically. Our curriculum includes developmentally appropriate activities and learning experiences that foster the spirit of inclusion. Children are learning while having fun!

Camp Nep-in-Nae
Camp Nep-In-Nae is located at the Gleason Family YMCA. We offer a wide variety of camp activities, with our main features being our outdoor and indoor swimming pools, outdoor high and low ropes course, indoor climbing wall, and full-size gymnasium.
Camp Nep-in-Nae provides a traditional outdoor summer camp experience with our woods-based camp, recently updated archery range, hiking trails, and storybook trail for our youngest campers. We have a greater focus on specialty camps than ever before, providing campers an opportunity to share their passion and build relationships with staff and other campers.
Only at the Gleason Family YMCA: Indoor and Outdoor Seasonal Pool
The Gleason Family YMCA has two beautiful swimming pools; one is a six-lane indoor pool that includes zero-entry sides with a slide and several other water features. In July of 2010, a new outdoor pool was opened that includes a large zero-entry side, several water features, and three lap lanes.
The outdoor pool has a large deck with umbrella-covered tables and comfortable chaise lounges. There are three changing areas: male, female, and a family changing area. Both pools have certified lifeguards on duty at all times.
The Y offers a wide range of swimming options for the whole family including traditional learn to swim classes starting with infants right through to adults; specialty programs for diverse abilities; water sports & games; private & semi-private swim lessons; swim team; Master’s style swim conditioning; aquatic exercise classes; open swim & lap swim times.
