NEW BEDFORD YMCA EARLY LEARNING CENTER

2 years 9 months – 5 years old

New Bedford YMCA Early Learning Center is licensed by EEC and designed to meet the developmental need of young children in a caring, structured environment. We provide experiences that enhance each child’s cognitive, language, social, emotional, physical, and creative development.

Your child will participate in a variety of activities such as music, arts and crafts, dramatic play, outdoor play, and educational basics. At the New Bedford YMCA, your child will be given all of the tools needed to grow, learn, and be proud of their individual successes. Our Preschool staff works diligently to provide activities conducive to early learning in an environment that helps promote independence, self-esteem, and, most importantly, fun while learning! Every child also receives swim lessons during the school day.

After School Care:
School Dismissal – 5:30pm

In a safe friendly environment, the New Bedford YMCA Afterschool programs provide many activities and experiences to children within our community after the school day. We provide an after-school snack every day, which consists of healthy foods such as fruits and vegetables. Some of our many activities include arts and crafts, gym games, homework help, building, library, and curriculum. Our staff is here to help children use their imaginations, make new friends, and enjoy being a kid! Every child receives swim lessons during the week.
