Volunteer opportunities include:
- After School Care: Help kids develop socially and academically by volunteering as a mentor or tutoring.
- Basketball League, Flag Football League, and Swim Team: We are always looking for extra coaches and assistant coaches to assist in our extra activities at the Y.
- Child Care: Preschool: We can always use more hands to help our preschool teachers with story time or leading projects.
- Full Plate Project: Join us for a packing party at the Dartmouth YMCA, or for a market day where you'll help us load food into cars.
- Y Support Team – Association Office & Branch Locations: The Y is always looking for greeters, assistance with filing, and other general office tasks – especially during fundraising campaigns and member drives! Get to know the Y through outreach, making calls, and thanking donors.
- Sharing the Harvest Community Farm: Planting seeds in the greenhouse, transplanting seedlings into the fields, cultivating crops, and harvesting mature plants are just a few of the jobs we rely on volunteers for!
