As a YMCA volunteer, your time and talent goes a long way. You can lead a program, serve as a role model for young people, help with a special event, campaign for annual support, or be a part of a committee working to make the YMCA the best it can be! No matter how you help you’ll make a big difference as you work with others to create a feeling of connectedness in your community.

Youth In Government.
Leaders are developed by doing, the YMCA’s Youth and Government Program’s motto is that “Democracy must be learned by each generation.” The goal of the program is to create the next generation of thoughtful, committed, and active citizens. We are always in need of mentors to guide our youth.
Youth Leaders Club.
A program is designed to offer young adults the opportunity to develop leadership skills as they provide volunteer service within the Y and their community. Sessions and events are balanced with value discussions, peer relationship building, and programs targeted at managing all aspects of a young adult’s daily life.
