A huge resource for Swansea!
The Swansea Y is a huge resource for Swansea and the surrounding towns, and it provides a community atmosphere inside the facility. The Swansea Y staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. They answer questions quickly and are always willing to help. The staff post motivational messages around the facility. The huge white boards are decorated with monthly themes, which brighten the environment and push us with goals.
The facility is a safe environment. I often workout alone and feel safe entering and leaving the building. The workout equipment is up to date, well-maintained and cleaned on a regular basis by the staff. There are a variety of group programs that work for all levels; led by enthusiastic, expert trainers, who really care & go above and beyond to make us enjoy working out.

After School Care
Y School Age programs help kids develop socially and academically. Our curriculum includes developmentally appropriate activities and learning experiences that foster the spirit of inclusion. Children are learning while having fun!

Camp Weetamoe
Located on 36 acres of beautiful land in Swansea, Camp Weetamoe features state-of-the-art sports fields, an Adventure Course, and a splash pad. Campers will spend each day rotating through a number of activities, including sports, arts and crafts, high and low ropes elements, archery, and everything else Stoico/FIRSTFED YMCA has to offer.
For those with more particular interests, we offer specialty camps, too. Specialty camps spend approximately 50% of their day focused on their special interest. Specialty offerings include Dance, Acro, Cheerleading, Basketball, Soccer, and more. Check the camp brochure for specific offerings this summer.
Summer is a time of exploration, skill development, and learning at Camp Weetamoe. Our dedicated and enthusiastic staff can’t wait to see you at camp this summer!
Only at the Stoico/FIRSTFED YMCA: The Splash Pad
The splash pad is a 2,400 square foot fun, interactive outdoor space featuring a giant slide and multiple spray zones, appealing to kids of all ages.
