2025 FPP Status Report

In 2025, Full Plate Project (FPP) received over 1,200,000 lbs. of food from The Greater Boston Food Bank. We distributed a total of 1,260,630 lbs., equating to nearly 1,050,525 nutritious meals provided. Full Plate Project served 34,558 households and 99,332 individuals, a monthly average of 2,880 households and 8,278 individual contacts. Thus, distinguishing YMCA Southcoast as one of the largest hunger relief agencies in our region.

Program Highlights

  • FPP has fully digitized its intake process utilizing Oasis Insight to track intake data and generate service reports, streamlining the process throughout all Mobile Markets.
  • FPP phased out the New Bedford Mobile Market due to traffic concerns in and around the YMCA in favor of direct distribution to New Bedford Housing Authority Units.
  • Dartmouth YMCA Share the Harvest Farm increased production and in turn was able to donate over 4,000 lbs. of fresh produce to FPP throughout the 2025 season.
  • Fall River Public Schools and FPP have renewed their partnership to provide 150 units of dry goods and fresh produce to children and families across the Fall River school district.
  • Full Plate Project has expanded its community partner network to provide thousands of lbs. of food to more than 10 community partner pantries and food programs across the Southcoast.
